Food & Nutrition winners at 2022 4-H Summer Awards recognized

The following individuals were honored in the Food & Nutrition category during the 2022 4-H Summer Awards program.

• Bright Beginnings Nutrition Award: Lilly Fugate (Highland County Unlimited).

• Global Gourmet: Sydney Hamilton (Highland County Poultry, Pigs, & Lambs), first place and state fair representative; Anne-Marie Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place.

• Grill Master: Kallie Posey (Greene Countrie Farm Hands), first place and senior state fair representative; Evan Richmond (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place and junior state fair representative.

• Intermediate Nutrition Skillathon: Aubrey Baldwin (Highland Harvesters), first place; Jennielynn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place; Elizabeth Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), third place.

• Intermediate Outstanding Nutrition Exhibitor: Hanna West (Marshall Jr. Farmers); Aubrey Baldwin (Highland Harvesters), second place.

• Junior Nutrition Skillathon: Lilly Fugate (Highland County Unlimited), first place; Evan Richmond (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place; Makayla Wilder (Belfast Kids Unlimited), third place.

• Junior Nutrition Test: Hailey Halterman (Country Critters), first place; Kenley Juillerat (Premier Showmen), second place; Hanna West (Marshall Jr. Farmers), third place.

• Junior Outstanding Nutrition Exhibitor: Lilly Fugate (Highland County Unlimited); Breanna Wilder (Belfast Kids Unlimited), second place.

• Kitchen Boss: Sara Newsome (Fab Five), first place and state fair representative; Addy Knauff (Fur, Feathers, & Friends), second place.

• Let’s Bake Quick Breads: Lilly Rose (Barnyard Bunch), first place and junior state fair representative; Kathryn Cluff (Marshall Jr. Farmers), senior state fair representative.

• Let’s Start Cooking: Blake Osborn (Premier Showmen), first place and state fair representative; Lincoln Wilmoth (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place; Madalyn Burke (Highland County Unlimited), third place.

• Party Planner: Meghan Thompson (Fur, Feathers, & Friends), first place and junior state fair representative.

• Racing the Clock to Awesome Meals: Emma Yochum (All About Beef), first place and senior state fair representative; Hanna West (Marshall Jr. Farmers), junior state fair representative.
