A HELPING HAND – On Monday, Sept. 21, the Greenfield Area Christian Center Food Pantry, along with the help of the mobile pantry, sponsored by the Free Store Food Bank, will be distributing 10,000 pounds of food to needy families in Greenfield. Food will be distributed from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Greenfield Research parking lot, between North and McClain streets. The GACC is paying $1,000 to cover the costs of this food distribution. All residents in the Greenfield school district who qualify for the GACC pantry are eligible to pick up food. There will be another food distribution on Oct. 19.
