Flags of the United States presentation June 3

On June 3, Robert Grim will be presenting Flags of the United States at 7 p.m. in the Konneker Education Museum at 243 South Street, Greenfield.
Using a colorful display of over 25 full-size flags, Mr. Grim will talk about the history and symbolism of several state flags including Ohio.
The presentation will include the story of the American flag and its evolution through the history of the United States.
Mr. Grim is a former teacher of American history at Miami Trace High School and is involved with many genealogy and history societies including the Ohio Society of 1812 and the Sons of the American Revolution.
He is a past officer of many of these organizations. He is currently serving as the national commander of the Sons of Veterans Reserve which is a Civil War ceremonial and re-enacting organization.
Prior to and after the program, visitors will be able to view the educational displays recently put in place at the Konneker museum.
The Greenfield Historical Society and the Greenfield Genealogy Group are cosponsoring the program. The presentation and admission to the museum is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
