Fair Dahlia Show winners announced

The Dahlia Show was held at the 2025 Highland County Fair, and the winners are as follows:

Mark Neel - Best A; Lisa Neel - Best Other; Shannon Daugherty - Best Water Lily; Diana Phillips - Best Min; Shannon Daugherty - Best Stellar; Diana Phillips - Best Pom, smallest bloom; Shannon Daugherty - Best Ball, Best of Show; Shannon Daugherty - Best Min Ball; Shannon Daugherty - Best BB; Shannon Daugherty - Best B; and Diana Phillips - Largest Bloom.

The show was judged according to the American Dahlia Society rules and classifications.

We thank the sponsors of the 2025 Dahlia Show: Ford Excavating, Ponderosa, Janie's Closet, H&R Block, Wilkin Heating & Air Conditioning, Magulac Tire, and Urban Dirt Greenhouse! 

The next Hillsboro Garden Club meeting will be Tuesday, September 23 at Floral Hall.  The evening's program will be the Fall Plant and Bulb Auction and starts at 6:30 p.m.

All gardeners are welcome to join us!
