Fab Five 4-H Club reports on April 11 meeting

On April 11 at 7 p.m., the Fab Five 4-H Club had a meeting at the Leesburg Friends Church.
Sara Newsome called the meeting to order. Maddie Wiseman led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jobey Hattan led us in the 4-H pledge.
Hannah Hopkins took attendance. For attendance, members had to answer with their favorite 4-H activity. Hannah Hopkins also gave the Secretary’s report. The Secretary’s report was moved for approval by Abby Hall and seconded by Miley Caldwell.
The Treasurer’s report was given by Maddie Caldwell. It was moved for approval by Jorga May and seconded by Jobey Hattan.
For recreation, Jimmy Trent came up with the game freeze tag. Sara Newsome talked about old business and new business.
Maddie and Miley Caldwell gave a demonstration on Lindner show feeds. Harlee Hammond gave a demonstration on how to take care of baby chicks. Avarey Hammond gave a demonstration of what you need to show your pigs.
The motion for meeting adjournment was made by Jorga May and seconded by Miley Caldwell. To end the meeting, members of the group made thank-you cards to go with our mask fundraiser.
The next meeting will be in person at the Leesburg Friends Church on April 25 at 7 p.m.
