Fab Five 4-H Club holds first meeting of 2023

The Fab Five 4-H Club’s first meeting of 2023 was held Jan. 29 in the basement of the Leesburg Friends Church.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Miley Caldwell, and the 4-H pledge was led by Jorja May. Then we introduced the adviser and the current officers. Ginny Trent did the roll call, and the officers gave their reports.

We next went into old business. We will still be collecting pop tabs to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Then we went into new business. The adviser gave reports about the officer elections will be held March 5, and on Feb. 19 it will be office descriptions and nominations. The enrollment deadline is April 1, and for the first-year members and advisers it will be March 5-11.

The meeting was then adjourned by Wyatt Morrow and seconded by Jorja.
