Fab Five 4-H Club hears variety of demonstrations at June 27 meeting

The Fab Five 4-H club held a meeting June 27 at 7 p.m. at the Leesburg Friends Church.
Ginny Trent called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Whitlee Morrow. The 4-H pledge was led by Lyla Cockerill.
Hannah Hopkins took attendance, and members had to respond with if they were a food, what would they be. Hannah Hopkins also gave the secretary’s report. The secretary’s report was moved by Abby Hall and seconded by Avery Morrow.
The treasurer’s report was given by Amanda Hall. The treasurer’s report was moved by Jorga May and seconded by Whitlee Morrow.
Avery Morrow gave a health and safety report about what to bring when you go camping. Wyatt Morrow gave a news report.
For recreation, Jobey Hattan came up with the game heads-up 7-up. Ginny Trent went over old and new business.
Abby Hall gave a demonstration of why instructions are important. Mack and Davis Mackenzie gave a demonstration on how to make bait to fish. Whitlee and Avery Morrow gave a demonstration on the showmanship of pigs.
Jorga May and Lyla Cockerill gave a demonstration on chickens and eggs. Hannah Hopkins gave a demonstration on how to frost a cupcake and the tools she uses. Jobey Hattan gave a demonstration on how to wash pigs.
The meeting was adjourned. The next Fab Five meeting will be held at the Leesburg Friends Church on July 11 at 7 p.m.
