The baby contest was held on Saturday, July 17 and had various categories for the children to enter. The age groups were 0-10 months, 11-23 months, 24-36 months and 37-48 months. A king and queen were then selected from each age group by three judges from surrounding communities.
The parade, sponsored by Greenfield Rotary, followed the next afternoon. Edgewood Manor of Greenfield decorated their float centered on a “Finding Dory” theme and featured all of the winners from the contest the day before. After the parade, the winners also received the chair that they each sat on during the parade.
