Don, Peggy Edwards celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Donald R. Edwards and Peggy Elaine Dulaney were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 1954 at the West Union Methodist Church. The Rev. Harry Hitch officiated the ceremony.

Peggy recalls that Don paid the pastor $10, while Don thinks it was only $5. Either way, they say it was money well spent.

Don and Peggy are the parents of four children: Christa (Ken) Davis of Leesburg, Don (Suanne) Edwards of Hillsboro, Greg (Sandy) Edwards of Augusta, Wis. and Ruth (Charles) Wagner of Findlay. They have 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
