District governor visits Lynchburg Lions

The Lynchburg Lions Club held its annual Christmas dinner in December at the Lions Club Building in Lynchburg.

Lions District Governor Gary DeFayette was the guest speaker. DeFayette is a member of the Wilmington Lions Club and serves the nearly 65 clubs in District 13-OH6 in southwestern Ohio. He has been a great friend of the Lynchburg Club as well as all the Lions of the area.

DeFayette presented an update of the many Lions service activities that are regularly conducted by the thousands of Lions all over the world. He congratulated the Lynchburg Lions for their many service projects and community activities over the years.

DeFayette also presented Lion Bob Roth with a special membership pin in honor of Roth’s 30 years of service to Lions. The Lynchburg club congratulates Roth and thanks DeFayette for his visit and outstanding service to Lions.
