DAR Waw-wil-a-way Chapter earns Achievement Award; promotes Constitution Week

The award is based on the many activities of the chapter including service projects, volunteer work, promoting youth and veterans’ activities.
The DAR is promoting Constitution Week from Sept. 17-23. On Tuesday, members met with Hillsboro Mayor Justin Harsha for a proclamation.
Any organization that has a bell is asked to ring it on Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. to commemorate the signing of the Constitution. Displays will be set up at all of the local libraries, and information has been sent to government students in the county high schools.
