On Thursday, April 10, Brad Adams and Katie Colvin from the Highland County Humane Society visited Daisy Troop #134 to educate them on animal cruelty and prevention.

Mr. Adams gave a great presentation on the day-in and day-out activities of being a Humane Officer and really drove home the importance of being a voice for animals in need and supporting your local shelters.

Mr. Adams also accepted donations from Troop #134 on behalf of the Highland County Animal Shelter. The girls were able to collect a wide variety of items to donate, including paper towels, laundry detergent, pet food, toys, treats and collars.

Daisy Troop #134 would like to send a big thank-you to both Brad and Katie for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit with them.
