Daisy Troop #134 of Hillsboro recently donated cookies to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital on behalf of the Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation. Daisy Troop #134 chose the Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation as their gift of sharing recipient during the 2013 cookie sales campaign.

Finding a cure for childhood cancer will “Do a World of Good!” – which was the 2013 Girl Scouts Cookie Sales Theme!

The Thumbs Up for Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation works in memory of Lane Goodwin, who passed away from Rhabdomyosarcoma on October 17, 2012.

The Foundation focuses on finding a cause for childhood cancers which will lead to a cure. It also works towards empowering families to advocate on behalf of their children and to provide financial assistance to those families.
