CMH volunteers recognized at annual spring banquet

WILMINGTON – Clinton Memorial Hospital recently hosted its annual spring banquet for volunteers where a number received recognition for reaching hourly milestones in 2013.
Volunteer Services manager Carol Sebert highlighted volunteers Shirley Swindler and Goldie Hammon during the program at the CMH Conference Center, noting that they have volunteered at CMH for more than 42 years.
Sebert served as master of ceremonies at the event where remarks, extending appreciation to Sebert and the volunteers, were made by CMH president and chief executive officer Mark Dooley, board chair Marcy Hawley, as well as several other CMH managers.
Volunteer Avonelle Williams also thanked Sebert, who is in her 20th year as head of the volunteers at CMH, for her years of service and dedication to the program.
CMH volunteers gave more than 16,600 hours in 2013.
