Clothing & Textiles winners at 2022 4-H Summer Awards announced

The following individuals were honored in the Clothing & Textiles category during the 2022 4-H Summer Awards program.

• Accessories for Teens: Makayla Wilder (Belfast Kids Unlimited), first place and State Fair representative.

• Bright Beginnings Clothing Award: Ava Hamilton (Greene Countrie Farm Hands).

• Clothes for High School and College: Sydney Hamilton (Highland County Poultry, Pigs, & Lambs), first place and State Fair representative.

• Clothes for Middle School: Leah Robinson (Marshall Jr. Farmers), first place and State Fair representative.

• Clothing for Your Career: Sydney Hamilton (Highland County Poultry, Pigs, & Lambs), first place and State Fair representative.

• Creative Costumes: Kathryn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), first place and State Fair representative.

• Designed by Me: Caroline West (Buford Dairy & Livestock), first place and State Fair representative.

• Em.bel.ish: A 4-H Guide to Wearable Art: Kathryn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), first place and State Fair representative.

• Harbage Family 4-H Clothing Award: Sydney Hamilton (Highland County Poultry, Pigs, & Lambs).

• Intermediate Clothing Skillathon: Leah Robinson (Marshall Jr. Farmers), first place; Elizabeth Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place; Jennielynn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers, third place.

• Junior Clothing Skillathon: Ava Hamilton (Greene Countrie Farm Hands), first place; Jacob Robinson (Marshall Jr. Farmers), second place; Kenley Juillerat (Premier Showmen), third place.

• Junior Clothing Test: Ava Hamilton (Greene Countrie Farm Hands), first place; Hanna West (Marshall Jr. Farmers), second place; Jennielynn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), third place.

• Katherine E. Daye Award for Excellence in Clothing & Textiles: Trinity Edenfield (Highland’s Best).

• Look Great for Less: Jayah Chaney (Fantastics), first place and junior State Fair representative; Emma Yochum (All About Beef), Senior State Fair representative.

• Loungewear: Elizabeth Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), first place and State Fair representative.

• Master Clothing Educators of Ohio - Junior Category: Leah Robinson (Marshall Jr. Farmers).

• Master Clothing Educators of Ohio – Senior Category: Trinity Edenfield (Highland’s Best).

• Ohio 4-H Consumer Clothing Award: Jayah Chaney (Fantastics).

• Ohio 4-H Fashion Review Award and Highland County’s State Fashion Board Representative: Kathryn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers).

• Outerwear for Anywhere: Trinity Edenfield (Highland’s Best), first place and State Fair representative.

• Outstanding Clothing & Textiles Exhibitors: Makayla Wilder (Belfast Kids Unlimited), first place Junior; Jennielynn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), first place Intermediate; Elizabeth Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), second place Intermediate; Kathryn Ogden (Concord Jr. Farmers), first place Senior; Kyah Chaney (Fantastics), second place Senior.
