Class of 1947 Day

Hillsboro Mayor Dick Zink proclaimed Sept. 2 as Class of 1947 Day in Hillsboro, as the 1947 class of Hillsboro High School celebrated its 62nd reunion at the old Ponderosa Banquet Center. "The class of 1947 has touched the lives of so many people in their respective communities, using the teaching they received at Hillsboro High School in a positive manner," the mayor wrote in his proclamation.
