The weekend kicks off Friday evening and includes a vintage circus sideshow display, Clyde Beatty memorabilia display, Columbus Zoo presentation on big cat conservation (including cheetah visit), screening of the film “Africa Screams” (starring Abbott, Costello and Beatty), food truck, circus calliope, balloon twisting, face painting and Circus Stunt Show & Side Show from the Cincinnati Circus Company.

“The Bainbridge legend of Clyde Beatty should remind us that with creativity and commitment, anything is possible,” Deb Koehl, Paxton Theatre Foundation Trustee, said. “Circuses have brought entertainment to families across the world for decades.

“Beyond that, they were families themselves. The circus provided a home and purpose for folks to celebrate their differences and come together as one. That’s what we’re all about here at the Paxton Theatre. It just feels like a good fit.”

Weekend tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and veterans and $7 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased online at PaxtonTheatre.org or via telephone at (740) 634-3333. The Paxton Theatre is located at 133 E. Main St., Bainbridge.
