Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon-cutting for Kroger grand opening

The Kroger Company’s Cincinnati and Dayton Marketing Division proudly held the grand re-opening of their Hillsboro store, located at 575 Harry Sauner Road on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The grand opening celebration’s activities in the morning included performances by the Hillsboro High School and Lynchburg-Clay High School bands, to whom Kroger presented a $1,000 check. The VFW Honor Guard held a ceremony to hang the store’s flag. Five schools, representing the local chapters of the Future Farmers of America, gave presentations throughout the morning and received a $500 check.

Cincinnati Reds announcers Marty and Thom Brennaman met Reds fans and signed autographs, and WLW radio personality Jim Scott, was also at the store meeting customers.
