Cabin Fever features more than 41 artisans

The snow is flying, the fire is dying,
But we will weather the storm.
What do we care if icicles form?
Cabin Fever will keep us warm!
Come on down! This year’s Cabin Fever show will feature over 41
artisans.
In addition to returning guild members and guests, several new faces
will share their skills and products.
* Pike County Farm, LLC: woodland products, woodcraft and photography,
picture frames, cutting boards, peg boards.
* Cattail Acres Gourmet: gourmet jams, preserves and fruit butters,
specialty baked goods.
* Weavefemina: hand woven items.
* Sue's Wearable Art: appliqued clothing.
* Strands of Grace: baskets, beaded jewelry, crochet and knitted items.
* Mill Branch Soap: natural olive oil soaps and lotions, cold process
liquid soap.
* The Wooden Gift Shop: wood scroll saw items, flowers, boxes,
bookmarks, bears, ornaments and key chains.
* Jaybird Farms: dried florals, homemade jams and jellies, herbal
crafts, fudge.
* Dave's Welding: barn stars and wrought iron items.
* Gabby's Grace: tote bags, purses, angels.
* Eyes of Wonder Cards: photo greeting cards.
* Bowman Studio: acrylic paintings of animals, portraits, Totem
painting, illustrator.
* Sunflower Sundries Farm: organic soap, jams, mustard, cornmeal.
Stitches will fly at Cabin Fever as the Highland County Quilt Clubs
enjoy a day of fellowship while quilting and sharing ideas.
Their beautiful products will be on display in the Learning Center.
Watch demos and enjoy the area high school student art show.
Listen to live music while enjoying a delicious lunch.
Workshops will be offered in heirloom eggs, creating a scented liquid
soap, sleeping mice, mountain dulcimer, and silver clay jewelry. Call to

Cabin Fever is a presentation of the Appalachian Artisans Guild and
SSCC's Art Department. It will be held on Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at
the Fincastle Campus of Southern State Community College located at 12681
U.S. 62, 1.5 miles north of state Route 32, or 18 miles south of Hillsboro.
