Buford Church of Christ to observe National Day of Prayer May 4

Buford Church of Christ will be hosting a National Day of Prayer service May 4 at 7 p.m. The church is located at 2457 state Route 138 in Buford.

Special speakers from across the area will include: Kenneth Barr, Buford Community Church Pastor; Alex Butler of the Marshall Church of Christ and Highland County Auditor; Rudy Diskete of the Buford Church of Christ and Commander of the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard; Herb Day of Southside Praise & Worship Center in Hillsboro and a well-known local broadcaster and radio owner; Allyson Beckelhimer of the Georgetown Church of Christ and a first grade teacher at Mt. Orab Elementary; Lowell Bernhardt, elder at The Crossing; and Bob Cockrell, minister of the Buford Church of Christ and Church of Christ Hollowtown.

Refreshments will be served following the service.
