Brownie Troop 134 visits local farm

Lead Summary

On March 9, Brownie Troop #134 visited the Beech Ridge Berry Farm located on Roundhead Road in New Vienna to learn about maple syrup.

Joe Novotny, owner, educated the girls on the process of maple syrup production from tree to bottle. The process was very interesting and ended with a tasty sample of maple syrup made right here at home.

Brownie Troop #134 would like to send a warm thank-you to Joe and Beech Ridge Berry Farm for their hospitality. It was a fun and educational trip for all.
