On Thursday, March 12, Brownie Troop #134 toured the Hillsboro Police Department with Officer Kelley as guide.

The girls learned how the police station functions and got a first glimpse of the remodeling project currently under way. The girls were impressed with the refurbished police station sign soon to be hanging outside.

The best part of the day was when the girls got to sit in the front seat of the police cruiser and hear the siren sound.

Brownie Troop #134 would like to extend a warm thank-you to Officer Kelley and the Hillsboro Police Department for taking the time to allow them to visit the station and educate us on some of the daily ins and outs of the police officers that protect our city each and every day.
