Bournes celebrate 60th anniversary, renew vows

William and Carmen (Stroemer) Bourne were joined by their family to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at Woodlawn Farm, where they renewed their wedding vows.

This was followed by luncheon and a time for visiting.

The Bournes were married in the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church on Aug. 20, 1955 with the Reverend Francis Malzard officiating.

They have a daughter, Laura (Brian) Johnson; a deceased son, Steven (widow, Darlene) Bourne; and grandchildren Tim Johnson, Michael Johnson and Tyler Bourne.
