Board of DD, AG's office to host Parent Outreach Day Feb. 21

The Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities, in conjunction with the Ohio Attorney General's Office of Dave Yost’s Ohio Human Trafficking Initiative, will host a Parent Outreach Day event Feb. 21.
The event will be held from noon-3 p.m. at the Hills and Dales Preschool, 8919 US Highway 50, Hillsboro.
Guest speakers will be Mary Kate Waggoner and Linda Majeska Powers.
Through this outreach session, the goal is to empower students to keep themselves safe and know who to ask for help. Local agencies that are able to provide assistance in areas of need to families will also be on hand.
