Bill and Sharon Sibrel to celebrate 50th anniversary on Aug. 9

Bill and Sharon Sibrel will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 9, 2015.

They were married Aug. 9, 1965 in Sparta, North Carolina.

Sharon is the secretary at Lynchburg-Clay High School and Bill is a farmer and the owner/operator of Sibrel Excavation Co., Inc.

They are the parents of two daughters, Trisha (Ed Barber) Mabry and Tracy (Mike) Cornett.

They have five grandchildren: Paige Hoop, Halie Frazier, Gavin Frazier, Ashton Frazier and Colton Frazier.

The other special family member is Jasper, their yellow Lab.
