‘Beauty & the Beast Jr.’ plays this weekend at Paxton Theatre

The Paxton Theatre proudly presents “Disney’s Beauty & the Beast Jr.,” with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book by Linda Woolverton, playing this weekend: July 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. and on July 31 at 3 p.m.
Tickets for “Beauty & the Beast, Jr.” can be purchased in advance, for only $12, by visiting www.PaxtonTheatre.com. At the door, tickets are $15. Credit cards are accepted for online purchases and at the door. Seats for this production will be reserved, so it’s recommended that tickets be purchased early.
The classic story tells of Belle (played by Jaeden Thatcher), a beautiful young bookworm in a provincial town, and the Beast (Nick Winland), who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
