The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival, hosted by Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, is bringing award-winning bluegrass artists to the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9.

The annual International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) World of Bluegrass convention and awards wrapped up the last week of September in Raleigh, N.C., and the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival is excited to announce that host band Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers took home the trophy for Entertainer of the Year. This is the band’s first win and first nomination in this category. They also won Collaborative Recording of the Year for “The Guitar Song,” featuring Grand Ole Opry and Bluegrass Hall of Fame member Del McCoury.

“Our talent lineup for the weekend includes Bluegrass Hall of Fame artists, Doyle Lawson and the Seldom Scene. We also present three artists at the Roberts Centre for the first time, Jeff Parker, formerly with Daily & Vincent, The Family Sowell and Becky Buller,” event producer Joe Mullins said. “I’m so thankful to have Becky here, finally. She is such a wonderful entertainer — singing, playing every instrument, and she’s been a hit songwriter for many years. Please join us in Wilmington.”

Friday’s lineup will be headlined by Bluegrass Hall of Fame Inductee Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. Friday’s performances also include Grammy Award-winning songwriter and eight-time IBMA Award winner Becky Buller, Ralph Stanley II & The Clinch Mountain Boys and The Moron Brothers.

Saturday’s show will be highlighted by performances by Grammy-nominated The Seldom Scene, Jeff Parker & Company, Kenny & Amanda Smith and Remington Ryde.

Host band Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers will perform both days also. The Ramblers will be servers from 10:30 a.m. until noon on Saturday during the Fan Feast Breakfast, singing or picking for tips and raising support for the IBMA Foundation.

“Our fall festival is always a great gathering at the end of the outdoor event season and before the holidays,” Mullins said. “JMRR celebrates the blessing of being the new IBMA Entertainer of the Year. We will show our thankfulness this year to the IBMA Foundation by donating funds from our Fan Feast Breakfast on Saturday. Please plan to attend.”

A $10 breakfast donation allows guests food and fellowship benefiting the bluegrass community worldwide.
