Author to present 'Is He Still My Prince?' at Hillsboro library
Michelle Lyn Shields Roberts will appear at the Hillsboro Public Library on Jan. 29 to present her new book, “Is He Still My Prince?”
Everyone is invited to attend. The program will start at 6:30 p.m.
Over the years, Roberts has traveled as a singer. She has had the privilege of singing in backup choirs for such groups as PlusOne, Steve Green and Bryan Duncan, as well as being a member of the National Choir of Washington, D.C. She also sang and traveled with the group In One Accord. She has sung at many different churches and numerous special events.

Roberts has also enjoyed directing and producing youth-based drama productions, been involved in public speaking and drama productions herself and has done radio commercial broadcasting on a part-time basis. Her passion has been writing; she has a love for writing songs, poetry, short stories and skits, and has enjoyed writing this book.
Relationships — whether they are with a spouse, a brother or sister, friend, coworker or just someone you have known for a short time — can sometimes be very difficult. How do you cope with relational situations that arise? God, in his word, has so much to say about relationships. Even in the beginning of time, God desired to have a relationship with mankind. Throughout the Bible in the Old and New Testaments, there are examples of so many relational difficulties.
This book offers insight — geared toward women — on relationships through prayer, communication and many other perspectives in a “princess and frog kind of way.”
"You’ll laugh, ponder and maybe even cry a little," Roberts said. "But my prayer is that in reading this book, you will gain insight through the printed word that will help you move to the next level in your relationship with others and ultimately with God."
