Highland County residents gathered Sunday afternoon, October 11, for the 12th CROP Hunger Walk.

Beginning at the First Methodist Church, the group walked to various areas in Hillsboro to bring attention to the need of ending hunger at home and around the world.

“CROP” was originally an acronym for the Christian Rural Overseas Program. It now stands for “Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty.”
