For Greening Greater Greenfield
The fourth annual Blues, Brews and Stews Winterfest will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 7-10:30 p.m. in Greenfield.
There will be two venues this year, one at Spark Creative Artspace at 251 Jefferson St., and the other across the street at Catch 22 Sports Pub.
There will be two blues acts performing this year. Micah Kesselring will be doing his version of acoustic country blues at Spark, and Gary Williams and The Back Talk Blues band will be doing electric blues at Catch 22.
Admission fee is again $10 per person and includes admission to both venues and the invitation to help yourself to 20 samples of the best soups, stews, and chilies this area has to offer. Selecting the best in all categories will again be done by the public.
Alcoholic beverages and food will be available at both venues with the stipulation that such beverages cannot, by state law, be carried from one venue to the next.
The evening will also include a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing.
Greening Greater Greenfield (G3) is going all out this year to make this event bigger and better. The goal is to grow it into a major winter event for southwestern Ohio.
