Amie Griffith represents county on 2013 State 4-H Fashion Board

The Ohio State University Extension Selection Committee has announced that Amie Griffith will represent Highland County on the 2013 State 4-H Fashion Board, the highest youth textiles and clothing body in the state’s 4-H program. 

The State 4-H Fashion Board is a small group of outstanding 4-H teen clothing members selected from across the state to assist in conducting the State Fair 4-H Fashion Revue, 4-H clothing workshop sessions and other events, and to promote Ohio 4-H clothing projects and programs.

Board members are expected to lead by example at home, school and in the community in a manner that exemplifies the 4-H Pledge and Motto.

Griffith is a member of The Fantastics 4-H Club, 4-H Family and Consumer Sciences Board and Junior Leadership.

She has served on the Junior Fair Board and was the 2011 Junior Fair Queen.

She is a senior at Hillsboro High School and will attend The Ohio State University as a fashion and retail studies major in the fall of 2013.

Amie is the daughter of Lori Newman of Hillsboro and Mark Griffith of Sabina.
