Allen named 2014 Highland County Beef Queen

The Highland County Cattlemen's Association held their annual meeting on April 2.
At this meeting, 2013 Highland County Cattlemen's Queen Becca Dhume gave a presentation of her year serving as the beef queen and her activities. She presented beef preparation and cuts of beef in two different local grocery stores on three different occasions. Dhume also did several community service projects, including choosing a family at Christmas and purchasing Christmas gifts for them, as well as making Easter baskets for 10 families full of food, cleaning supplies and much more.
Dhume attended multiple shows and passed out awards at the Highland County Fair, Highland County Jackpot Show and the Ohio State Fair. She also participated in working at the Ohio Cattlewomen's booth at the Ohio State Fair and at the Ohio Beef Expo. One of her final roles was representing Highland County in the 2014 Ohio Ambassador Program Contest and crowing the 2014 Highland County Beef Queen, Halee Allen.
