Adena Greenfield Medical Center volunteers recognized

Adena Greenfield Medical Center volunteers held their annual luncheon recently at the Greenfield Methodist Church.
The catered luncheon was held in honor of the group who contributes hundreds of hours in service and fundraising on behalf of AGMC.
Special Events Coordinator Rosemary Kropfelder presented pins in recognition of service hours.
Heading the list were Betty Wise who has volunteered for 41 years and Peggy Grimsley (33 years). Other
The honorees included:
• 2000-hour pin, Rosemary Kropfelder;
• 1500-hour pin, Patsy Green;
• 1000-hour pin, Karen Yeager;
• 500-hour pin, Janie King, Joycie Cochran;
• 250-hour pin, Melinda Kessler, Shelba Grim; and,
• 100-hour pin, Bev Howard.
Last year, the volunteers donated over $15,000 to AGMC for the purchase of therapy and surgery equipment. They hold book, uniform and flower sales, and operate the hospital gift shop which is run exclusively by volunteers, with 100 percent of their profits coming back to the hospital.
