Scott Lee 'Scotty' Turner
Scott Lee “Scotty” Turner, 54, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
He was born Feb. 5, 1969, in Greenfield, the son of Linda K. Howland.
Scotty was a construction worker all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Christy (Hawkins) Turner, whom he married Dec. 31, 1999; one son, Ashton (Angie) Turner of Greenfield; two daughters, Hannah Turner (Dallas Fields) of Hillsboro and Jasmine Ford of Washington C.H.; six grandchildren, Alex, Colson, Desi, Savannah, Samantha and Jordan; five brothers, Larry (Tammy) Turner of Bloomingburg, Robbie (Amy) Turner of Greenfield, Billy (April) Turner of Greenfield, Buck Howland of Greenfield and James (Jessica) Richardson of Greenfield, whom has been his lifelong friend and with him until the end; three sisters, Angie (Butch) Yoakum of Washington C.H., Tammy Penrod of Lima and Wilma Jo (Douglas) Howland of Hillsboro; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; father, Bill Elder of Greenfield; and special friends, Bobby and Margie Trefz of Greenfield and Brandon Nebbergall of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul L. Dorman and Pewee Yoakum; mother, Linda Elder; and parents that raised him, Charles “Buster” and Edna Lou Howland.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Jason Yoakum officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
