A Sabina woman has been sentenced to community control after pleading guilty to drug charges stemming from a Highland County Task Force investigation.

Amber Docter, 29, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in April on six counts, including three counts of aggravated trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound in the vicinity of a school zone, two third-degree felonies and one fourth-degree felony; and three counts of aggravated possession of a fentanyl-related compound, two fourth-degree felonies and one fifth-degree felony.

According to court records, Docter pleaded guilty June 8 to two counts of aggravated trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound in the vicinity of a school zone, a third-degree and a fourth-degree felony.

A bill of particulars alleged that on or about June 7, 2022, Docter sold 0.32 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant in the parking lot of a Greenfield business. It is also alleged that on the following date, Docter sold 1.10 grams of fentanyl to a CI in the same business parking lot.

During a sentencing hearing July 5, Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Docter to three years of community control. She was also ordered to pay restitution and court costs and to succesfully complete a recommended treatment program, according to court records.
