Ross County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force execute search warrant on Liberty Hill Road

On Tuesday, Aug. 15 shortly before 7 a.m., the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force, executed a search warrant on Liberty Hill Road outside of Chillicothe.

The search warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation by the Task Force.

Investigators allegedly discovered suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, prescription drugs, cash, weapons and stolen property.

Timothy Depugh, 55, was arrested at the scene and charged with having weapons under disability. Mr. Depugh may face numerous other felony charges pending the completion of the investigation.

“I want to thank the numerous federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies that partnered with my office in the execution of this search warrant,” Ross County Sheriff George W. Lavender Jr. said.
