Richard L "Dick" Farra, 85 of Coldwater, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Dick was a lover of all things that had to do with the American frontier and horses. Dick worked in executive management with Kawasaki and Union City Body Company from where he retired as the director of operations.

Dick is survived by four children, Vickie (Russ) Newman of Hillsboro, Randy (Kim) Farra of Leesburg, Russ Farra of Leesburg and Mark (Jeanie) Farra of Austin, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; stepsisters, Nancy Shaffer of Hillsboro and Carol Payne of Mt. Orab; a sister-in-law, Pauline Marsh of Bradenton, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Dick was preceded in death by his beloved son, Carl Richard "Rick" Farra; his father, William Carl Farra, who passed while serving his country in World War II; his mother, Doris Virginia (Hare) Marsh; stepfather, Seren C. Marsh; and stepbrother, Donald "Don" Marsh.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 11 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was a good friend of mine and now he is pain free at last. May he rest in peace.
