Reds announce homestand highlights for Padres series

The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following homestead highlights for their series against the San Diego Padres, June 30 to July 2.

Friday, June 30 – Reds vs. San Diego Padres, 5:10 p.m. (gates open at 3:10 p.m.)
• TV: Bally Sports Ohio (John Sadak, Barry Larkin & Jim Day)
• Radio: 700WLW and stations on the Reds Radio Network (Tommy Thrall & Jeff Brantley)
• City Connect Friday: Reds players and coaches will wear the Nike City Connect uniform as part of City Connect Fridays.
• Fireworks Friday: Rozzi’s fireworks show presented by Ruoff Mortgage scheduled to begin shortly after the game ends.
• Bald Eagle Flight: “Sam” the Bald Eagle from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will perform his final flight of the season from the TriHealth Riverboat Deck to the pitcher’s mound during the singing of the National Anthem. Sam began making these flights in 2004.
 
Saturday, July 1 – Reds vs.  San Diego Padres, 1:40 p.m. (gates open at 12:10 p.m.)
• TV: Bally Sports Ohio (John Sadak, Barry Larkin & Jim Day)
• Radio: 700WLW and stations on the Reds Radio Network (Tommy Thrall & Jeff Brantley)
• Patriotic Floppy Hat: Fans in attendance will receive a Reds Patriotic Floppy Hat, presented by Bally Sports Ohio, while supplies last.
• Military Appreciation Game: Today’s game is a Reds Military Appreciation Day, presented by CareSource. Many of the pregame ceremonies will feature and honor men and women from the military. Members of the military and first responders can purchase discount tickets at reds.com/Military.
• Folds of Honor Scholarship: During pregame ceremonies, Folds of Honor, Budweiser and the Reds will present a check of $20,000 to Riley Hrin, the Folds of Honor Scholarship recipient. Riley is a student at Ohio University and a reservist in the United States Marine Corps. Following the check presentation, Riley will serve as the Honorary Captain of the game.
• USS Cincinnati: Pregame ceremonies will feature representatives from the USS Cincinnati, the U.S. Navy’s newest Littoral Combat Ship based in San Diego. Lieutenant Santino Alteri will throw out a ceremonial first pitch to Jim Brokaw, the Chairman of the USS Cincinnati Foundation. Singing the National Anthem will be retired 1st Lt. Noah Demerly from the USS Cincinnati Foundation.

• Reds City Connect Poster Series #3: Fans in attendance will receive a poster featuring Joey Votto in the new Nike City Connect uniform, presented by Hit Seekers Sports Cards, while supplies last. This is the third poster to be given away this season in the Reds City Connect Poster Series.

Reds Hall of Fame & Museum presented by Dinsmore
• Scott Williamson signing – July 1:The Hall of Fame’s Alumni Signing Saturday series continues with an appearance by Scott Williamson. Williamson played for the Reds from 1999 and 2003 and was named National League Rookie of the Year and named to the All-Star Game in 1999. Williamson will be signing in the Williams Family Champions Gallery on Saturday, July 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Purchase autograph tickets at RedsMuseum.org/Events.
• Danny Graves Bobblehead: The 2023 collectible bobblehead series continues in July with former Reds pitcher Danny Graves, who joins Bronson Arroyo and the late Gabe Paul in the Hall of Fame’s 2023 Induction class. The bobblehead, presented by Dinsmore, is free with regular-price paid admission to the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum (or a Great American Ball Park Tour) and is available Saturdays and Sundays in July, while supplies last.
• 2023 Hall of Fame Induction Celebration – July 14-16: The Reds Hall of Fame and Museum will honor pitchers Bronson Arroyo and Danny Graves and general manager Gabe Paul as the Induction class of 2023. The 2023 Reds Hall of Fame Induction Celebration presented by PNC will take place July 14-16 and will include meet and greets, VIP receptions, on-field ceremonies and more. The weekend culminates with the 2023 Reds Hall of Fame Induction Gala presented by Clark Schaefer Hackett at Duke Energy Convention Center. Details and tickets at reds.com/Induction.
• Kids and Military FREE at the Reds Hall of Fame: Kids 12 and under can always explore the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum presented by Dinsmore for free, courtesy of the H.C.S. Foundation. Admission for active military and veterans is free, courtesy of the Sargent Family Foundation.
