Ralph E. Parker II

Ralph E. Parker II, 78, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023 at CareCore of Westmoreland in Chillicothe.
 
He was born Nov. 26, 1944 in Portsmouth, the son of Ralph Edward and Elizabeth (Taylor) Parker.
 
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Greenfield and formerly installed awnings.
 
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Parker, whom he married Dec. 7, 1973; two sons, Ralph E. Parker III of New York and Brian (Dana Jo) Parker of Hillsboro; three daughters, Darlene Kay (Mike) McDonald of Columbus, Debra Parker of Chillicothe and Holly Parker of Frankfort; nine grandchildren, Delilah, Angel, Zachary, Chelsey, Matthew, Christian, Madison, Haley and Kristin; three great-grandchildren, Hazel, Joe and Lucas; and special friends, Tom Brown, Roger Newkirk and everyone at the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Greenfield.
 
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Wilson and Linda LeMaster; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Roger Newkirk officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
