Peyton Scott named Academic All-MAC

Amani Freeman, Katey Richason, Peyton Scott, Sydney Watkins and Ivy Wolf, five members of the Miami University women's basketball team, were named Academic All-MAC, announced by the conference office.

Scott, a senior majoring in Sports Leadership and Management, earned a 3.79 GPA. She is a graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
