There is no joy outside fence

Joy! Joy! Joy! You would think it is an old-fashioned Christmas. Actually, it is just the theme at the Democratic National Convention at the United Center in Chicago, a cubbyhole when one considers the vastness of the United States.
True to form, the normally fenceless, no ID Democrats have not one, but two fences around the United Center and you must show ID to get in. Totally opposite the policies they take toward our southern border and voter ID.
Outside this enclave, a crowd appearing much larger than the one inside, is shouting them down. For once, the huddled masses (I want to use a word that rhymes with masses, but this a family paper) are inside, not out.
Monday evening, they held an appropriate wake for Joe Biden, the victim of assisted suicide. Don’t cross the Democrats. They are more ruthless than the Michael Corleone ever was. When they are done with you, they don’t kiss you on the cheeks and put you in a rowboat – they prop you up on stage and yell, “We love you, Joe!”
Was it really just a month ago they euthanized old Joe?
And wasn’t it just the icing on the cake to bring out Hillary Clinton and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to deliver the eulogies and the pivot to joy at this celebration of life? (Hey, Alexa, fix the county. Nope, that didn’t work.)
But why is there no joy outside the fence in Chicago?
Inflation, immigration, safety on the streets – these are three of the conditions in our country that the Democrats own lock, stock and barrel.
And what is the Democrats’ solution? More of the same, in the form of Kamala Harris. The only difference is Harris is supposed to be an articulate, vibrant 59-year-old. I want to see Harris unplugged, with no teleprompter. I fear her cognitive capabilities are no better than Joe Biden’s, except old Joe has an excuse – he is old.
What is Harris' excuse? I am glad you asked.
For decades, the Democrats have been serving up professional politicians as their leaders. People with zero business experience, just like Harris. The last one that actually worked for a living before becoming president was Jimmy Carter. Maybe a great peanut grower, not so great a politician (and a borderline anti-Semite). Carter would be more appropriate outside the United Center fence than inside.
I keep hearing there are all these Silicon Valley and high-tech successes throwing money at Harris. These are successful business people, such as Mark Cuban, Mark Zuckerberg to name two.
Quit showing us your money and step up to the plate. We don’t need your money; we need your business savvy.

Trump survived
The Democrats and the legacy media called the Jan. 6th riot an insurrection... What do they call the overthrow that occurred in July 2024?
