Everything is just fine, right

Vacuity, thy name is Kamala Harris.

Pre-election quotes:

“Vice President Kamala Harris told ABC News’ ‘The View’ Tuesday that she would not change anything from President Biden’s term of office – despite the commander-in-chief’s job approval having been under water for more than three years."

“The left-leaning distaff panel asked the 2024 Democratic nominee if she would have done anything ‘differently’ than Biden, 81."

“’There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of — and I’ve been a part of — of the decisions that have had impact,’ responded Harris, 59.”  (New York Post.)

On “The Colbert Show” later the same day, the dialogue went like this: “You are a member of the present administration, but under a Harris administration, what would the major changes be, and what would stay the same?’ Colbert asked. “Sure, well I’m obviously not Joe Biden," Harris responded.

"So that would be one change in terms of – but also I think it’s important to say with 28 days to go, I’m not Donald Trump," Harris said, sparking cheers from the liberal audience.

“And so when we think about the significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like, were I to be elected president, it is about – frankly, I love the American people, and I believe in our country. I love that it is our character and nature to be an ambitious people. You know, we have aspirations, we have dreams. We have incredible work ethic. And I just believe that we can create and build upon the success we’ve achieved in a way that we continue to grow opportunity and in that way, grow the strength of our nation,’ Harris continued before touting her ‘opportunity economy’ pitch and talking about her small business owner mother.” (New York Post.)

Yes, these two segments are from the New York Post. The left-leaning press seems to have conveniently left them out of their coverage.

These interviews occurred on the same day. Could not Kamala or her advisers tell her you need a better answer to this question, “What would you have done differently?” before she got to Colbert?

Does she and her staff really think that the voting population is happy with the results of the last four years? And if they are, what does that say about them?

Kamala’s other fumble of the week was to whine that Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida isn’t taking her calls. She whines that he is being political about hurricanes. Excuse me, who is being political? DeSantis is talking to President Biden. Isn’t Biden the top federal official in charge?

What does Harris bring to this situation?

Back to the Colbert Show, where the host and Kamala each had a beer. I didn’t know you offered a beer to someone who may even remotely be on the verge of being an alcoholic. Maybe a joint would have been better. Perhaps next week she can have an interview with Cheech and Chong.

Her objective seems to be one of the cool kids, not offer the voters anything of substance to ponder.
