Tonya L. Holland
Tonya L. Holland, 59, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2024 at her home in Wilmington after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 16, 1964 in Wilmington, the daughter of Thomas David Holland and the late Wilda Joyce Cherryholmes Holland.
Tonya was a former employee at Custom Molded Products and was a graduate of East Clinton High School class of 1981.
Surviving are a daughter, Tasha (Stephen) Lamb; a son, Cpl. Kile (Rebecca) Holland U.S.M.C.; two granddaughters, Audrea (Garrett) Collins and Andrea Fulton; three great-grandchildren, Aveyah Collins, Daxton Collins and Greyson Collins; her father and step-mother, Thomas D. (Linda) Holland; a brother, Troy (Kristie) Watters; two sisters, Tomi (Dave) Woleab and Tameka (Dick) Holland Thacker; her longtime companion, Larry Dean Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
Tonya was preceded in death by mother, Wilda Joyce Cherryholmes Holland; a sister, Trenda Holland; grandson, Dalton Fulton; nephew, Jacob Spurling; and a niece, Tichelle Riddle.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home at noon Tuesday, Jan. 9 with Pastor Jeffery Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in the Springfield Friends Cemetery.
Friends will be received at funeral home from 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Jan. 9.
