Timothy (Tim) Lee Shorten

Timothy (Tim) Lee Shorten was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024 and lost his short battle four weeks later on Feb. 20, 2024.

He was born May 29, 1959. 

Tim attended Hillsboro High School and was a member of the class of 1977. Tim enlisted in the Army, where he served as a helicopter technician for two years. Tim built a career as a master auto technician and lived many years in Sandwich, Mass. 

After many years, Tim was reunited with his high school girlfriend, Pamela Williams. Both had been married and divorced and had kids and grandchildren, then rekindled their love for one another after 35 years. In 2012, Tim and Pam were married and lived happily in West Chester. 

Tim is survived by loving wife, Pam, and many children and stepchildren and their spouses. He was an amazing Poppy to many grandchildren and is also survived by his stepfather and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. 

Tim was preceded in death by both his parents and one sister.
