Thomas Wade Rhoads

Thomas Wade Rhoads, 65, of Leesburg, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at home.
 
He was born Dec. 28, 1958 in Wilmington, the son of Dale and Mary (Estele) Rhoads.
 
He was a 1977 graduate of Hillsboro High School. Tom was a devoted husband, father, landscaper and owner of Rhoads Nursery and Topsoil. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time outdoors.
 
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife, Janet (Bryant) Rhoads, whom he married 43 years ago; two sons, Zach Rhoads of Leesburg and Zane Rhoads of Greenfield; two brothers, Mike (Gina) Rhoads of Wilmington and Craig Rhoads of Hillsboro; special cousin, Sandy Jenkins of Hillsboro; brother-in-law, Jack (Cindy) Bryant of Greenfield; sister-in-law, Harriett (John) Webb of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews; and several very close friends, including Gary Dobbs and Jeff Vickers.
 
Cremation will take place, and a private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Street, Washington C.H., Ohio 43160.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
