Thomas Alvin Johnson

Thomas Alvin Johnson, 61, of Springfield, Mo., was found deceased on Sept. 1, 2026. 

Formerly of Greenfield, he was born Dec. 27, 1964 in Chillicothe, the son of Bernard and Shirley Johnson. 

He attended Greenfield and Paint Valley schools.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Brewer (Johnson) of Leesburg; a brother, Danny Johnson of Springfield, Mo.; sisters, Marsha Campbell of Greenfield, and Charlotte Johnson (Jeff Elam) of Highland; cousins and friends, Paul Iseman and Marty Iseman; and nephews, David Johnson, Zackary Campbell and Joshua Knisley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Johnson; brother, Robert Johnson; nephew, Dusty Johnson; uncles, Donald Johnson, David Johnson, Ronald Johnson, Marvin Johnson and Roger Johnson, and David McLaughlin; aunts, Carol Stewart, Janet Smith and Marge Iseman.

There are no services scheduled. Cremation will be  at Holden Funeral Home (https://www.holdenfunerals.com/) in Sparta, Mo.
