Tammy Tolle

Tammy Tolle, 62, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024.

She was born Oct. 2, 1962 in Rome, Ga., the daughter of the late Herbert Elmer "Buck" and Pearlyn (Williams) McClung. 

Tammy will not be remembered as a woman who kept quiet or bowed before anyone or anything. She faced each day, rain or shine, with a fierceness that should be forever admired. Above all, she loved her family and friends, and the memories and impact she left behind will forever be cherished. Her family and friends fully expect to have a guardian angel, full of laughter and love, and to be fiercely protected by her.

Tammy is survived by her husband and love of her life, Jeffrey Tolle of Hillsboro; a son, Jacob Tolle of Youngstown; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Tolle of Youngstown; a daughter, Nancy Tolle of Hillsboro; a son-in-law, Donovan Roush of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Connor Bowen, Aulorah Bowen and Joseph Tolle, all of Hillsboro; two brothers, Tom (Candy) McClung and Rick McClung; a niece, Abbi; a special daughter, Katrina Douglas of Seaman; and a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Tavis Kayden Jacob Bowen and Briannika Tolle; a sister, Patricia Marie McClung; and a brother, John David McClung.

The Thompson Funeral Home is serving the family.

Tammy will have a private family viewing, followed by cremation.
