Tamara K. Smedley

Tamara K. Smedley, 50, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 at home.
 
She was born May 6, 1973 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late James William Reno and her surviving mother, Wanda Sue Shelton, of Columbus. 

On Oct. 30, 1999, she married Rodney Donald Smedley, who also survives. Tamara was a 1991 Hillsboro High School graduate.

Other surviving family members are her brother, James (Sue) Reno III of Florida; and mother-in-law, Peggy Smedley of Wilmington.

Celebration of life services will be held, Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 at noon at the Jonah's Run Baptist Church, 9614 OH-73, Waynesville. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

Contributions in Tamara's memory may be made to your local Humane Society as a testament of Tamara's love for animals.
