Tamara Ann Frazer, 45, of Belfast, passed away Oct. 18, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident.

Tamara was born Dec. 13, 1978 to Steve and Teresa Frazer.

She was the oldest of five children. She fulfilled her role of a big sister to the fullest capacity, always the protector and rock of her family.

Tamara began her educational journey at Belfast School, where she attended her primary grades, making many lifelong friends along the way. She continued on to Whiteoak High School, where she was a great team player who was actively engaged in most sports and many organizations. Her family packed the stands in support of everything she did. She graduated in 1997 with honors near the top of her class.

From a young age, it was evident that Tamara was a born caregiver. She went straight from high school to college to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Upon graduating from nursing school, she entered the medical field at CareSprings Nursing home in Eastgate, where she cared for elderly patients, touching many lives with her gentle demeanor and caring spirit for over 20 years of her career as an RN.

Desiring a change, she next accepted a position at New Path, as the Director of Nursing, where she worked in a residential setting with children with behavioral and mental health needs. She had just recently taken a leap of faith to accept a new position as a Hospice Care Coordinator with Queen City Hospice.

In addition to her love of nursing, Tamara's greatest joy came from spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed farm life, especially the cows (even buying her own Scottish Highland cow), seasonal decorating (fall was her favorite season), picking out pumpkins and mums at the local Amish with her family, attending concerts and discovering new restaurants. She loved watching Hallmark movies, holiday baking, eating an extravagant pizza while visiting with her friends, and enjoying a slower pace of life with her family at the campground. She was a light to everyone around her, selfless in everything she did, always putting others before herself. She was an angel on Earth and now is at peace with God as an angel in heaven.

Tamara is survived by her parents, her father, Steven Frazer of Belfast, and her mother, Teresa Beekman (Floyd) of Hillsboro; her four siblings, Chad Frazer of Belfast, Tracy Shaw (Richard) of Mowrystown, Amber Frazer of Belfast and Ashley Coates (Chevy) of Belfast; four adored nieces and nephews, Garrett and Tessa Frazer of Belfast and Hadley and Cohen Coates of Belfast; many extended family members consisting of beloved aunts, uncles and numerous cousins; and special friends Joyce, Lora and Teresa.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Phyllis Frazer of Belfast, and her maternal grandparents, James and Reva Anderson of Hillsboro; maternal grandfather, Clayton Helton of Fairborn; and her beloved aunt, Sue Eyre of Belfast.
