Sheila Cadwallader
Sheila Cadwallader, 70, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 23, 1954 in Vanceburg, Ky., the daughter of the late Thomas F. Lewis and Frances Mary (Burriss) Hurd.
Growing up, Sheila was a member of a Pentecostal Church in Vanceburg, Ky., and later in her life she was a faithful member of the Rudolph Christian Church in Rudolph, Ohio. She enjoyed working with her sister at Farmers Insurance Agency in Bowling Green for many years.
Sheila was an amazing cook and enjoyed sewing, singing, country music and going to garage sales. She was known to help anyone in need and was very loving to everyone she met. Sheila adored her family, was an amazing mother to her girls and loved her cat, Jake. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Roger Cadwallader, whom she married June 28, 2007; two daughters, Mary Irene (William) Mancuso of Palmer, Ill. and Amber Nicole Darding of Springfield, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Michelle Whiting of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Lindsey Valencia of Enfield, Conn., Keagan Dale of Palmer, Ill. and Madison Renee of Orlando, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Mia Valencia and Eloise Valencia, both of Enfield, Conn.; a sister, Bonnie (Gary) Kathrens of Bowling Green, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Thomas Lewis and Larry Wayne Lewis.
Visitation will be held Thursday July 25, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will take place following visitation Thursday, July 25 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
